Notes from Ankaka Customer Service

(1).The computer cannot be turn on.
a. Check the battery to make sure it is charged.
b. Check the machine again after connecting the power adapter.

(2). There is no voice from the earphone
a. Check the volume setting
b. Check the connection of earphones

(3). Noise
a. Check whether the earphone plug is clear as dirt could bring noise.
b. Check if the music file is broken. Confirm the problem by trying another one

(4). Messy code
Please check whether it has been set of the right language option.

(5). WiFi is not working
All of Tablet PCs have been inspected by Ankaka QC team before shipment.
However if you still can not make it work well, please check out the following:
a. Check if there is any metal that may block the wifi signal.
b. Please try the several signal models of your wireless router one by one.
c. Check if the password of wireless connection is correct.

(6). Does it support YouTube?
A. Yes, But you have to install the YouTube App or the SkyFire Browser via Market apps, which is free of charge. There are also many softwares available on the internet which can be used to download YouTube videos onto your device, so you can also enjoy the videos even if not connected with the internet.

(7).Can I use this as an MP3 or MP4 Player?
A. Yes,of course.

(8).Please do not update/flash the Operating System (Android system) by yourself! It may cause unexpected errors and damage the product!

hii i brought this tablet and everything seems to be very impressive one thing i would want to know is how to fix my youtube app, i downloaded a numbrous differnt youtube apps and all of them are saying an [unexspected error occured] please guide me through a step by step process on how to get it workin...other than that like i said the tablet is very good i love it =] [ANKAKA REPLIED]The youtube app is pre-installed. the description says 1 ghz processor while the name says 800 mhz, which is it? can you upgrade the android on this tablet? what is the wifi range? if this tablet has no hdmi ports, how can it output HD video? can the battery be changed or it is built in? does this tablet have a microphone? [ANKAKA REPLIED]The CPU is 800 mHz. It can't be upgraded right now. It supports WIFI 802.11b/g and external HD video on hard drivers or online. The battery and microphone are built in, but you can change the battery yourself if you have excellent electronics skills.

I assumed you would be able to connect to the android marketplace and download any android apps. This is not the case. The 'App market' icon will only get you to a small set of mostly chinese apps. I have tried for days to register the device with Android marketplace, but to no avail. The OEM app store has little on it. So I have a tablet that looks nice, but I cannot do anything on it! I love this 8" pad! It is great to date. Just need to have battery life extended. Can you give me a few tips? How about the schematic of the 8" pad? Thanks! [ANKAKA REPLIED]You can double the battery lifetime by running a modded rom, like Tipstir's Extreme Performance or my Uberoid. When you install either one, run the app Battery Booster. Adjust some settings, like the brightness of the screen which is very important. Also it really pays off to have a taskkiller running or a memory cleaner, because some apps are still running when you leave them, those cost battery power as well. Pls try to avoid using this tablet when charging, or it'll do harm to the battery. hey i own this tablet and i bought and recieve a 8 inch case but i didn't receive that extra cord to add too the usb so i can attached the keyboard without the adapter i am planing on getting another one but for the 7 inch i think it's called apad 2 please on my order can you add 2 of that extra extention to it please i would really love if you do [ANKAKA REPLIED]Pls kindly note that the usb port on the leather case is standard usb 2.0 which differs from the 30 pin usb port on the this tablet. So you need to use the adaptor to connect them together.
