This device looks very similar the APU-DV12, is there any difference?
This device is quad band which means it can be used anywhere in the world, the DV12 is just dual band. The other difference is that the DV12 uses passive infrared motion detection and this one does not. Passive infrared allows the motion detection to only be activated when living objects that radiate heat pass in front of the camera.
Can I use this camera as a webcam as well?
This night vision GSM remote security camera is not designed to be used as a webcam.
Is it difficult to configure this GSM security camera?
The DC23 user manual comes fully detailed with step by step instructions and examples with troubleshooting scenarios. So even people who are not very technologically savvy with have no problem using this device.
